NO.2 DR. WU - DAILY RENEWAL SERUM WITH MANDELIC ACID 5%
Dr. Wu is a Taiwanese Brand, created by dermatologist Ying-Chin Wu, M.D - who has over 40 years of combined background and experience in Cosmetology.
This serum contain three Acids in the perfect 5:2:1 Golden Ratio of Mandelic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Pyruvic Acid to penetrate deeper and faster for immediate skin regeneration! It can help with acne, blackheads and enlarged pores. I use once or twice a week at night and use it before toner.
It really helped reduce my acne and brighten my skin complexion. But I don't recommend to use this every single day, because I feel that it can make my skin a bit dry.
NO. 3 THE ORDINARY - LACTIC ACID 10% + HA 2%
The Ordinary, it’s not a famous brand in skin care line. Honestly, I was scared to use their products, because the price is SO CHEAP! I mean you really can’t get SGD $15 serum on any other brand.
I did some search on it and saw some good review on one of the HK forum. So I decided to give it a try.
My first bottle of The Ordinary was Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2%. I use this every night after toner before moisturiser. I found that it helped my pimples and reduced the old marks. After a bottle of 5%, I changed to 10%. I feel like this the mild version of MANDELIC ACID 5%.
You can go for milder 5% formula If your skin are really sensitive.
NO. 4 NIKS - FAST ACTING DRYING LOTION
I used lots of acne lotion/cream. This is the only one that I purchase it again and again. Highly recommended!
Be aware that this acne lotion can be a bit dry for skin.
NO. 5 ORIGINS - CLEAR IMPROVEMENT CHARCOAL MASK
I’ve been using charcoal masks once a week to help draw out impurities and keep my skin clear. Other than this brand, I also used Michael Todd - Jojoba Charcoal Facial Mask before. I think they are quite similar.
